What was Sinergia?

Sinergia was a group residency generously provided by Monoma Suomi and the Mushrooming Helsinki Workspace Network from 30.11.23 to 30.05.24. Our small group, consisting of Pablo Riestra (Chile/Finland), Nadia Tapia (Chile), and Maria Gat'sal (Mexico/Spain).

We came together to utilize the space for organizing activities and events that combined movement and arts, including GYROKINESIS®, Argentinian Tango, Contemporary Dance, and acting classes. Additionally, the space was utilized for showcasing painting exhibitions by Pablo Riestra. The name 'Sinergia,' derived from the Spanish word for 'synergy,' reflects our belief in the power of interaction and cooperation to create a collective experience greater than the sum of its parts. Emphasizing collaboration, our residency sought to foster a space for meaningful encounters, discoveries, and shared joy, transcending individual efforts.
