Detachment was a solo choreographic endeavor, wherein I ventured on an introspective journey to delve into the inherent wisdom and strength embodied within the menstrual cycle. This poignant piece served as a bridge for unraveling the transition from girlhood to womanhood, aiming to foster healing in my complex relationship with the menstrual experience. Moreover, it seeked to prompt audiences to confront prevailing stigmas and question why menstruation remains a marginalized and silenced subject.
